MEET THE ATHLETES

Did you know that since 1912, American Soldiers have been responsible for at least 131 of the Olympic medals awarded to the United States?

Football, marathon running, snowboarding, bobsledding, and more—the Soldier athletes of the Army National Guard excel in a wide variety of sports while serving their country. Because service in the National Guard is part-time, Soldier athletes have the opportunity to train and compete while serving their country in the Army National Guard. Soldier athletes participate in the same initial entry training as all other members of the Army National Guard, and each has a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS).

Learn more about the Outstanding Athlete Program and meet additional Army National Guard athletes.
